The book Croatian Mountain Dog - Tornjak has been finished - the book is out of print, and is available at subscription price of 177,00 kuna. At the moment, it can only be bought directly from the author, and is expected to be in the bookstores early next year.
English verison of the book is expected at the first days of New Year 2004.
The first complete story about Croatian Tornjaks is told on 250 pages, with more than 200 photographs and illustrations. It contains chapters on its origin and history, character and temperament, training and socialisation, care, nourishment and maintainance, health and diseases, breeding, shows, standard of the breed and Tornjaks as working dogs. You can also find a chapter about the other five Croatian native breeds, as well as additional information - a list of all Croatian breeders of Tornjaks, as well as a list of interesting web adresses. This book, B5 in format and in hardcover, is the first book ever written about Tornjaks.
